Build a Cheap Custom Gaming Computer

The typical home PC is designed for low impact usage and not really for gamers. Typical PCs just can not keep up with the graphics and heavy duty processing of today’s computer games. Often the PC would just crash and you had to restart losing all the progress made to that point. People quickly realized they needed a computer designed for gaming.

If one decides to just buy a prebuilt gaming computer the prices are sometimes higher than expected. Some cost thousands of dollars for an ultimate gaming computer. So, some decide to build their own gaming system. A search of the computer company websites and aftermarket sites quickly show there are so many ways to go and so many decisions to make. Where does one start?

The components for building a super gamer computer are available many places on the Internet. They just need to be found and purchased. A full-blown gaming computer with everything needed to run just about any game should be able to be built for under or around $1000. Unless a user is savvy about building a gaming computer, a tutorial may be needed to decide which parts are needed. However, being a technical genius is not really needed. With some basic PC skills and a few simple tools a super gaming computer can be built quickly.

Building a system is a great way to save money. Since computer technology is dynamic and always getting better, building a system can save money because only a new component will be needed to bring the computer up to speed instead of having to buy a whole new computer. Plus, each part will have it's own warranty. This is good because if you need to replace only one part it may be under warranty while others may have expired.

Turnkey gaming computers are great but expensive. With a little research and ambition a person can buy all the parts they need to build a relatively cheap gaming computer. It will take a little time but you upgrade more quickly with a home built system and change parts out at will.
