Computer Cables

   Cheap computer cables are the glue that hold our computers together. Cables are the duct tape of the carpentry industry. Without cables, data and those little digital pulses could not get from one peripheral to another. There are video cables, audio cables, ethernet cables and so much more. Sometimes it's hard to tell them apart. Some people have a whole box full of cables--some of them even unopened.

Video Cables

   Take video cables for example. These are necessary for any desktop system with a monitor. But there are so many types of video cables. There are BNC, HDMI, M1, S-Video, CCTV, Composite, HDTV and more. It seems there are so many types of video cables you really have to know what you are doing just to buy the right cable.

Audio Cables and Others  

   Audio cables seem to have just as large a selection with 3.5mm, Toslink, RCA, S/PDIF and more. Cables can be confusing for the home computer or electronic enthusiast. And when you get to networking cables like Ethernet and all the others, the cable selection goes through the roof. If you need a new cable and you don't know what to get it is best to take the old cable with you when you decide to get a new one. Distinguishing different cables just by looking at them sometimes can be difficult. Fortunately, cheap computer cables don't go bad too often so you shopping for them should be rare. But, it does happen, so during your trouble-shooting process don't forget to try a new cable. Sometimes that's all you need.
